Laser Scanning

Laser Scanning provides an accurate measurable model of a built space. In a fraction of the time it takes to field measure and document existing conditions of a building, our team can scan and register a model of that space. This allows Engineers, Architects, Contractors, and Owners to skip field verification processes. Laser Scanning is more efficient and more accurate than a worker with traditional surveying tools such as tape, levels, and even laser measures. The scanners we use also map photographs to the points created by the scans, giving a true visual representation of the space. Our process is also much safer than traditional method. We are often performing scans as buildings are being demolished, which can be hazardous, but we are able to gather vast amounts of information in a single visit with a small team. Many of our clients use this service to document existing conditions for renovation projects, and for verification of installed elements and as-builts for new construction projects.

4D

During preconstruction, We can assits you with material takeoff for estimating, 4D phasing for scheduling, and jobsite organization. Creating accurate models of the building and site will allow our team to extract useful quantities of materials to help mitigate project cost throughout the construction process. 4D phasing and scheduling is a process in which software is used to visually display and test the logistics of project scheduling. This part of our BIM process will allow us to study the efficiency of proposed schedules with respect to the continued operation of spaces beyond those being constructed, assuring adherence to the construction schedule.

Furthermore, components such as lay-down areas and routes for material delivery and pickup can be accurately mapped before the project begins.The visuals produced from this process may also be used for bulletins and other communications with employees, alerting them to upcoming changes in building accessibility.
